EDeal provides a convenient online auction experience. Users can explore, bid, and even host auctions easily. It solves the problem of finding nearby auctions, allowing pre-registration and early bidding for favorite products, also enabling users to auction their own items and launch businesses.

About EDeal

An online auction takes place on the internet, like eBay, the largest platform supporting person-to-person transactions. I conducted competitor analysis to comprehend direct and indirect competitors' strategies and audience approaches.

My research primarily focused on the popularity of online auctions in India. Through it, the following findings emerged:

i) 62% of respondents had not participated in auctions in India, while 32% were interested in exploring the concept, and only 6% had prior auction experience.

ii) Nearly 53% of people were unaware of online auctions but expressed interest in trying them. Around 42% had no interest, and 5% lacked opportunities.

iii) 56% preferred attending both online and live auctions, 34% favored live auctions only, and 10% opted for online auctions exclusively.

The System & it’s features

The final deliverable is a mobile-friendly website catering to users and personas' preferences for on-the-go accessibility. While buyers may not use it daily, sellers find it convenient for auctioning products. The system's core features are:

i) Booking or registering for live auctions nearby

ii) Bidding in online auctions

iii) Allowing users to auction their own items.
